SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Do you want to exercise?  Or do you want to get results?

I tried the group training thing, I really did.  I wanted to make getting fit and healthy accessible to women 2, 3, 6 months after giving birth.

I ran a class twice a week for over a year, a couple of years ago, I decided to close it. 

It was a hard decision to make.  But the truth was, I just wasn't getting results for my clients.  My work is so individualized that having a group of 8 women who all have different issues was a nightmare.  I felt less and less comfortable with my inability to address everyone's needs.

 

Imagine this scenario: a group of 8 women...

one has pelvic floor issues and has stress urinary incontinence (she pees herself) when she does a range of movements,

another has severe diastasis recti and needs constant surveillance of her separation in every move she does to ensure that she isn't bulging,

a third is really stiff and tight and needs to work on flexibility and mobility above all else,

the fourth is hyperflexible

number 5 has back pain and needs to focus on that

and one of them is super strong and has no problems what so ever!

(that's just 6 but you get my point!)

This sort of scenario is not conducive to effective training.  The chances that everyone will have their needs met is very low.

And yet this is what most post-partum classes look like, in this country and everywhere else in the world.  I disagree strongly with this model.

So I decided to turn the model around.

I now require that all women wanting to train with me come for at least one personal session - an initial assessment.  This gives us an hour and a quarter alone to fully understand what is going on with your body and what you need to prioritize to reach your goals.  

Many women benefit from a few private sessions, to really get into the swing of it.

From there, you may be eligible to join the small group.

  There are lots of low-quality, big-group training opportunities around if that's what you're looking for.  I am trying to offer something different.  Extremely high quality postpartum training that gets amazing results AND helps resolve issues arising from pregnancy and childbirth.  No-one else in the country can offer that.

 

The big dirty lie of the fitness industry is that most of the time we are just wasting your time, just spinning your wheels, and not doing anything that's going to really change your body.  Sure, you'll get your heart-rate up.  Sure, you'll burn a few calories - but it's rare that someone gets the results they are truly hoping for.  Results like...

 

Closing the gap of an abdominal separation

Getting rid of pelvic floor issues (I do this with the help of a pelvic floor physio, of course)

Building muscle and getting "toned" arms

Strengthening the whole body

Getting rid of back pain

Moving better

Actually improving fitness

Empowering you to know WHAT to do and HOW to do it

These are the things that my trainees care about, and I'm not interested in training anyone if I don't feel I can truly get them to where they want to be.  This sort of training takes focus and expertise.  It takes an individualized program from a trained and experienced professional.


However, I do understand that personal training is not a viable option for most women.  This is why it is so important to me to offer this small group training.  It is more accessible and inexpensive, but I don't believe you lose on the quality of the training when you work this way.  You only need to train with me once a week and I can advise you on how else you can exercise the rest of the week (yes, we can get results just once a week).

- 1 or 2 training sessions per week
- Personalized programming in a small group scenario (4-5 people)

Pricing

450 nis / month - 1 x per week (PT is worth = 1,080 per month)
750 NIS / month - 2 x per week (PT is worth = 2,160 per month)

T&Cs 
- You are required to complete an Intitial Consultation before joining the class.

- Cancellation with 1 month’s notice
- Billing at the beginning of every calendar month

- Price includes 4 or 8 sessions per month. Months where I cancel a session (because of sickness) you will be reimbursed the cost of the sessions. 

- If you cancel (for whatever reason) you will not be reimbursed the cost of the session. You will have access to the online course.
